The Class of 2026 at OWIS Nanyang has delivered the strongest results in the school's history, and they did it as the largest IB cohort the school has ever had.
The Numbers Behind Our Student's Achievements
This year's cohort of 42 students achieved an average score of 35 points, well above the global average of 30.88. The top individual score was 43 points, and 12% of students scored 40 points or higher; the highest number OWIS Nanyang has ever recorded.
More than half the cohort, 53%, scored 35 points or above out of a possible 45. The school also celebrated a major first this year, its very first Bilingual Diploma.
This isn't a one off result either. Over the last three years, OWIS Nanyang students have consistently scored above the global average, showing steady, reliable performance year after year.

What These Results Actually Mean
The IB Diploma Programme is one of the most respected pre-university qualifications in the world. It's recognised by top universities everywhere, and it's designed to do more than test what students know.
It teaches students how to think.
Over two years, IB students learn to manage their time, question ideas from different angles, write and argue with clarity, and take ownership of their own learning. These are the same skills that help students settle into university life with confidence, rather than feeling overwhelmed in their first year away from school.
Universities know this too. Our Class of 2026 has already received offers from some of the top 50 universities in the world, including NUS in Singapore, the University of Hong Kong, the University of Sydney and King's College London. It's a strong reminder of just how far an OWIS education can take a student.

Antoine, who has been at OWIS Nanyang since Grade 5, describes the school as community based. "The teachers, the students, they're all very close to each other," he says.
For Yungwon, also at OWIS Nanyang since Grade 5, that support showed up when it mattered most. "During my Physics EE, my physics teacher and my friends helped me a lot in my experiment setup and also with the measurements," he says.
