Institut Florimont offers two language tracks (francophone and bilingual French/English) lead to a choice of three diplomas: International Baccalaureate, Swiss Maturite and French Baccalaureat.

Teaching approach of the school

At Institut Florimont, students can follow a bilingual cursus as of kindergarten., pupils follow the same core programme from the age of 11
in the lower secondary school (after CM2 or 7th Harmos) in preparation
for the three post-compulsory tracks (Swiss Maturité, French Baccalauréat
and International Baccalaureate – IB). Great importance is traditionally
placed on French language skills and pupils also follow a Swiss-French
syllabus of advanced mathematics. English language skills are prioritised
and the sciences are approached through practical work in the laboratory.
