I like the attitude and the way of teaching in general. I also like that there is a great connection between parents pupils and teachers. The amount of the sports activities is perfect especially for the young boys and take important place in the schedule . The best thing about Basis is that you care not just about the teaching the kids but as well about how to behave in a society and be a better person. Thanks so much for everything to all the teachers and staff.

As parents of a child attending BASIS Prague, we have had a very positive long-term experience with the school. As parents, it gives us great peace of mind knowing that the school places a strong emphasis on a safe and well-structured environment, provides a high level of teacher support in the classroom, and maintains open, respectful communication with families.
We feel that the school leadership takes its responsibility toward students seriously and approaches complex situations thoughtfully, always with the well-being of the entire school community in mind. Most importantly, our daughter feels comfortable and happy at school and genuinely enjoys attending, which is what matters most to us as parents.

My children enjoy going to BASIS Prague. They are academically challenged and they are genuinely interested in learning. I have noticed the smaller class setting helps them thrive as well. For example, when my older child experienced another school with a larger class setting, he was often discouraged because the teacher simply did not have time to call on him when he wanted to participate. The school environment is friendly, understanding and intriguing. Overall, I believe it is the best school for my kids.

We are very happy with BASIS Prague and with how our children are doing there. We can really see their academic progress, and we feel it comes from the individual attention they receive.
What we especially appreciate is that even in smaller classes there are always two teachers. It makes a big different in how much support the kids get.
The school feels very personal – the teachers and staff know the children by name, and communication is always open. Knowing that there is a Dean of Students and that an external psychologist regularly visits the school also gives us a lot of reassurance.
The children enjoy the lunches, and feel comfortable in the school environment. We are also looking forward to the Bubenec building.

I had high hopes that BASIS Prague would be a safe and nurturing place for my child, but our time there was deeply disappointing. My son experienced ongoing bullying, and I later realized that many other parents had similar stories. He tried to resolve the situation verbally, but when that no longer worked and he defended himself, the school immediately labeled him as “aggressive” instead of looking into what actually happened.

A particularly alarming situation occurred when another student threatened my son with a knife during lunch. When I reported this to his teacher, the dean, and the principal, the response felt very dismissive. I was told that a teacher had taken the knife away in time and that “nothing happened” because my son wasn’t physically hurt. There was no proper investigation or deeper follow-up, which left me extremely uneasy.
