My son felt immense pressure and lack of guidance from teachers to enable him to excel academically. Whilst test scores are above average, the school does not have a proper college counseling programme or a strong network with top universities. The school fees are far too high to justify the low return of investment.

Like any average private school in the area. A strong academic streak is present, particularly a select group of students per cohort. You will find some equally weak students too -- there's a lot of variation there. Hardly a middle ground?
On the topic of select groups; this school is riddled with nepotism. The student culture also embraces stagnation, hence it's all socially quite hard. Impressive to do when 9/10 students have the exact same socioeconomic background.
Everything else, from facilities to staff, is Russian roulette per grade level & classes. For the most part though, the teachers are fine. But... really. For that price you can get much, much better.

This school was one of the most negative academic experiences of my life. I often felt targeted and discouraged rather than taught. I attended from 2004-2012. At that age, that kind of environment has real consequences. I'm so glad that I didn't let that experience define my path, but it took years for me to rebuild my confidence and enjoy learning again.
