The Western Australian International School System (WASS) which provides education
from Kindergarten through to Senior Secondary School, is currently offering
international education curriculums for students aged two years old to senior secondary
years. WASS offers a wide variety of options for students with programs from the
Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), the Western Australian Program
(WAP), Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), American Diploma
Pathway (ADP) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Progamme (IBDP).
At WASS, we believe that each child is unique and has their own potential. We strive to develop them by believing in them as capable individuals in a secure, caring, stimulating, inclusive academic atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.
|
Teaching approach of the school
|
At WASS, students are placed at the center of all learning experiences. We encourage student engagement to the classroom by collaborative learning strategy, inquiry-based learning, investigation, and problem-solving skills. In which, the teachers act as a guide to allow the child's natural curiosity to direct his/her learning, and promote respect for all things and all people.

Our Campuses
WASS focuses on investing and building separate campuses for each level: Kindergarten, Primary – Middle School and High School, situated at the central areas of the city.
Students can find everything they need at any of the 5 campuses, including libraries, laboratories, research labs, theaters, cafeterias, and well-equipped sports courts.
With modern design accompanied by a full range of facilities that meet international standards, each Campus displays a dynamic learning space with airy classrooms and specialized function rooms such as Music room, Art room, Robotics room, Makerspace, science labs, libraries, theaters … and spacious green playgrounds ensuring students’ convenience while studying at school.
Our Programs
• WASS offers diverse programs for both Bilingual integrated program and International integrated program.
• For high school students, we are having three excellent learning programs: ADP – American Diploma Program, WACE – Western Australian Certificate of Education, and IBDP – International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
• Accredited by Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), Department of Education and Training of HCMC, Greenville Area School District, Pennsylvania, SCSA – School Curriculum and Standard Authority, and IBO – International Baccalaureate Organization.
• Students are well prepared to succeed in tertiary institutions.
• Students make informed choices when making selection options for further study.
After-school Activities
Every student is a distinct individual with unique interests and abilities. They tend to shine and excel when they are actively engaged in things that interest them most. Therefore, in addition to the main academic programs, the Western Australian International School System has organized extracurricular programs in the form of clubs from Monday to Friday each week.
These clubs are based on the concepts of “multiple intelligence” theory and “mechanism of brain activity”. When participating in club activities, in addition to having a chance to build leadership and teamwork skills, students have an opportunity to discover themselves and to develop their own special abilities.
