My two children went to Tanglin for 10 years. They absolutely adored it! The teachers were outstanding and really engaged with my children. Superb academics. There we loads of CCAs and sports to choose from, and the trips were unforgettable - outdoor Ed to India, sports to Indonesia & Thailand, music in Malaysia. They still talk about the time they went to Sarawak in the Junior school. The other students in Tanglin were great. My kids still stay in touch with many of their friends from TTS. It wasn't an easy school to get into, but it was well worth it!

I had an absolute horrible experience here that until to this day has affected me mentally long term and presumably for the rest of my life . as a poc, I did not feel welcomed despite my parents pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars to learn in this school. I was an outcast for 7-8 years, and had zero support system. although, I didnt mind not fitting in with the students , the teachers here felt very ignorant, cold, showed what I felt was like favoritism and downright unsupportive and sometimes felt cruel and non inclusive . When I wanted to apply to top universities, they discouraged me despite my good grades , saying I wasnt good enough- not sure why tho...... and a teacher accused me of " cheating " without any evidence which I have not done because I did not fit the intelligent look . not trying to accuse anyone, just sharing my unbiased , honest experience. on the ... read full review

TTS have a reputation based on longevity garnered by a fee system that would suggest they are a model 'fee-paying' school. The reality is that it is a comprehensive-style of education which benefits from a strong expatriate student and parent base. And they are not accountable to any authority. They have good teachers however their results benefit from a white-collar student base. In 2020 TTS's handling of the A-Level CAG process meant that many students did not make their university of choice and in the aftermath of this where the head of Senior School has resigned, it would seem that many are left with more questions than answers as to what happened. My 3 children were there from the age of 5. One had no problems at all, one was asked to leave because they didn't feel that she would get the exams the school needed (she went on to get 3 high grades elsewhere) and the last one m... read full review

I have been a student at Tanglin Trust School for 4 years now and managed to improve a lot on science, geography, history, etc. Majority of the school staff are friendly and manages anti-bullying well, eventhough things might change from senior school. I recommend this school to anybody who is willing to follow the british curriculum. All I can say now is that the school is AMAZING.
