The news was shared with the school following a recent Nord Anglia Education leadership conference and has given the BST community another reason to celebrate the achievements of its graduating students.
For the school, however, the recognition is about much more than a set of examination grades. It represents years of learning, encouragement and support from across the whole school community.
More than an A Level achievement
A Level results are the culmination of a student's final years at school, but the journey towards them often begins much earlier.
Students develop the confidence, independence, resilience and curiosity they need for Sixth Form throughout their education. From their first years in Primary through to the increasing academic demands of Secondary, each stage contributes to the learners they eventually become.
That is why BST sees its regional A Level achievement as something for the whole school to celebrate.
Teachers across different year groups and subjects contribute to students' academic development over many years. Pastoral and learning support teams help students navigate challenges and develop as individuals, while colleagues working across the wider school create the environment in which teaching and learning can take place successfully.
As the school's Principal reflected when sharing the news with staff, an A Level certificate may carry one student's name, but there is an entire community behind the journey that led to it.
Strong outcomes for the Class of 2026
The regional recognition follows an outstanding set of A Level outcomes for BST students in 2025/26.
More than half of all grades, 51%, were awarded at A* or A, while 77.1% were graded A*-B. Overall, 93.1% of grades were awarded A*-C, with a 100% pass rate across the cohort.
These outcomes are particularly meaningful within an international school community where students arrive at different stages of their education and with experience of different curricula and education systems.
Some members of the graduating class had studied at BST since Primary, while others joined during their GCSE years or entered the school for Sixth Form.
Regardless of when their BST journey began, students were supported to set ambitious goals and work towards the next stage of their education.
The people behind the results
Academic success at Sixth Form requires specialist subject knowledge and excellent teaching, and BST's A Level teachers and Secondary leadership team have played an important role in this year's achievement.
But the school is also keen to recognise the wider network surrounding every student.
Teachers who worked with students earlier in their education helped establish the knowledge and learning habits on which later success could be built. Pastoral, counselling, learning support and language teams helped ensure students were known and supported as individuals.
Beyond the classroom, administrative, admissions, IT, library, facilities, security and other support teams all contribute to creating a school environment where students can focus on learning and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
Families also play an essential role, encouraging students through the demands of GCSEs, Sixth Form and the university application process.
The result is an achievement that belongs not to one department or year group, but to a community working towards the same goal: helping every student achieve their potential.
Looking beyond the results
For BST's graduating students, their A Level results represent a starting point as much as an ending.
Students leave school with individual ambitions for university, further study and future careers, and examination results provide the opportunity to take those next steps.
For the wider BST community, being recognised for the best A Level results among Nord Anglia Education schools in the South East Asia and India region is a proud milestone.
Most importantly, it is a reminder of what can be achieved when ambitious students are surrounded by excellent teaching, individual support and a community that believes in their success.
