Student
I was a student at GIFS from grade 6 to 9, and later 11 to 12 and I still remember my time there with fondness and nostalgia. On the educational side of the things the content is IB so already at a very high level, but what distinguishes GIFS is the way the teachers apply it. The small class sizes really allow the teachers to make sure everyone is included and following. The teachers themselves were all passionate about the subjects they taught, always going the extra step to make learning fun. On the school life side of things it was just as great, the many events throughout the year made me and my friends eager to go to school (which I know is not the case for a lot of schools) as there was likely something to look forward to in the week. House games, special food days, spirit week, all made GIFS not only a place of learning, but of community. I could go on and on, but I'll finish this review by saying I am grateful for the experience I got to have at this school and if ever I'm back and Korea, my kids (that I don't have yet) will be going here.
