Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

Castelli International School is one of the most exciting and stimulating green international schools in Europe. Founded in 1977, the school is beautifully situated on a hilltop overlooking Rome, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves on the slopes of the Alban hills.
CIS is the only fully integrated international private day school in Italy catering for children from Year 1 through 9.

Teaching approach of the school

The school sees every child as an individual and recognises that children learn differently, and at different paces. Castelli's hands-on approach is clearly expressed in the Chinese proverb: “When I hear, I forget. When I see, I remember. When I do, I understand.”
