Yes, teachers assign homework to students but we have limited amount of homework applicable to each grade.

Entry evaluation for students

Yes, we do have an assessment system for each level. We apply formative assessment to students applying for high school too.

Brief description of entry evaluation required

We assess prior school reports and apply counseling interview to all candidates. For high school candidates, we apply entry exam to accept them or not. If accepted which group they should be in (i.e. IGCSE Core Maths or Extended, IGCSE English as a First Language or Second Language) is determined by exam performances.

Based on availability of seats rather than a cut off time as we understand that families may have to travel year around.

Our students have been doing great in these international exams. We do not admit the students to the next level if they fail to comply with their level exams.

Our school is a secular school that respects different groups of believers and non-religious individuals. By local law, we have to provide a prayer room for individuals who wish to practice in break times.

How does the school accommodate non-religious students or students of a different religion?

Religious practices cannot interfere with our program as our promise to parents is an educational one not religious.

Yes, it does. It covers most of Istanbul but we do not register young children if they are subject to a travel time longer than an hour.
