New American Chinese International School (NAC) is characterized by our commitment to academic excellence with a core focus on preparing students for the modern world requirements of skills such as AI agency, innovation, team building and collaboration with peers. NAC uses machine learning tools to create AI-personalized learning paths for every student. Learning materials automatically adjust to each student's level, pace, and needs, so students who need more time or a different approach receive it every day. This is supported by small classes (an average of 12 students), teaching assistants, and close teacher attention. |
| Teaching approach of the school |
At New American Chinese International School (NAC), our teaching approach is built on a philosophy we call Education 2.0. Whilst traditional schooling centers on memorization and recall, we focus on helping students think, create, communicate, and lead. Our goal is to prepare young people who are ready for a world being reshaped by technology, and who have the character to use their abilities in service of others. This is captured in our motto: Lead today. Serve Others. Shape Tomorrow. Four commitments shape how we teach. First, learning is AI-enhanced: every student receives a customized AI-powered learning tablet, and technology is used to personalize learning rather than replace the teacher. Second, students grow as trilingual world citizens, learning English, Mandarin, and Thai every day. Third, we cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset through project-based learning. In our Challenge Studio program, students work through a five-day weekly cycle that ends in a Friday exhibition, where they present real work to a real audience. Fourth, we place character and global impact at the center of school life, so that what students learn is connected to how they treat others and contribute to their community. |
