I used to be a student and while I found the academics strong and feel that the school prepared me well my experience with the student culture was considerably more negative. I left after sixth grade so I can only speak from my experience through that point. In the younger grades I didn't have many major complaints although I found the social environment quite cliquey and sometimes excluding. By middle school I felt that bullying exclusion and social pressure became more noticeable. I encountered inappropriate sexual material being shared in student group chats and sexual topics were discussed openly among students at a relatively young age. One of the greatest schools in Sao Paulo. The campus is beautiful and provides an inspiring place to learn for the kids. The staff also care deeply about the community and we can feel safe sending our children to Avenues.
