Avenues The World School was founded in New York in 2012 with a mission to redefine schooling for a fast-changing world. With a global mindset since inception, our São Paulo campus opened its doors in August 2018 to provide a truly transformative educational experience in Brazil.

The SST members oversee individual students and understand their needs to share key information with the class teachers and subject area teachers as well as the deans of student life. SST will work closely with the deans and Associate Division heads to make sure that student needs are communicated effectively, and that learning plans and strategies are in place. |

After submitting an application, all parents must meet with the admissions team. Students are holistically evaluated through a combination of academic records, playgroups or interviews, teacher recommendations, written statements, and reading, writing, and mathematics assessments. All meetings and interviews can easily be held online. |

We have a very busy, diverse after-school program that allows students to explore their passions. We offer specialized classes ranging from drama to cooking to robotics to capoeira to music to art. These are charged separately. Older students participate on athletic teams that are part of the school program (free). Many older students also take the initiative and leadership to run their own "clubs" -- Model United Nations, school magazine, community service, yearbook -- the possibilities are endless! |
