I used to be a student and while I found the academics strong and feel that the school prepared me well my experience with the student culture was considerably more negative. I left after sixth grade so I can only speak from my experience through that point. In the younger grades I didn't have many major complaints although I found the social environment quite cliquey and sometimes excluding. By middle school I felt that bullying exclusion and social pressure became more noticeable. I encountered inappropriate sexual material being shared in student group chats and sexual topics were discussed openly among students at a relatively young age. A wonderful school with dedicated teachers who are passionate about project based learning. My children have never been more engaged and curious in their learning as they were at Avenues. The facilities are top notch and parents are highly engaged.
