Teaching approach of the school

The American Academy in Prague (AAP) is a secondary school based on the education system of the United States. The program was developed in cooperation with Lyndon Institute, an independent day and boarding school located in Vermont, USA. A defining characteristic of the education system in the United States is its flexibility. This is a key component that is emphasized at AAP. While the classes at AAP are taught in English and there is a focus on improving English language skills, students will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of math, science, social studies and elective courses.
