At our school, technology is integrated into daily teaching and learning to enhance engagement, collaboration, and independent study. Classrooms are equipped with interactive screens and digital resources that support dynamic, student-centred lessons.
Teachers use online platforms to share materials, set assignments, and provide timely feedback, while students use technology for research, presentations, and collaborative projects. This approach helps develop digital literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing students for further education and the modern world.

At our school, technology plays an important role in ensuring continuity of learning. During rainy days or unforeseen disruptions, we use Microsoft Teams to keep classes running smoothly through live online lessons.

The school does not teach or promote any specific religion, nor does it require students to practise religion as part of school life. We respect all religions and beliefs and do not discuss religious matters within the school curriculum. However, the majority of our students are Muslim, and the school maintains an inclusive and respectful environment for all.

Results in these examinations

Our pupils consistently achieve high results in Cambridge examinations. In A Level, 36–39% of students achieve A–A* grades, while 36% achieve an A grade at AS Level. At IGCSE, 48.32% of pupils achieve A* grades.
In addition, our pupils achieve top results across the Western Province and Saudi Arabia in subjects such as Business, Economics, and English Literature, reflecting the strong academic standards and high-quality teaching across the school.

Dedicated staff/programs for students with special learning needs

AT JPGS we deploy a number of Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants strategically to work with individuals requiring additional support. We deliver a number of additional specialist programmes to help 'bridge the gap' including tagreted literacy, numeracy, social and emotional needs.
Our qualified SENDCo has oversight of all students with identified additional needs and works in conjunction with school leaders and teachers.
Where required, we conduct a variety of diagnostic psychometric assessments on an individual basis to help explore and identify the needs of individuals, which in turn helps to guide targeted support.

Learning support offered

Targeted in class support is provided for individuals with additional needs. Additional specialist withdrawal may take placed for students with more complex learning needs and takes place in our Personalised Learning Centre (inclusion Hub).

All teachers provide additional challenges and extensions for students who are gifted and talented. Individuals are also selected to take part in additional initiatives to further develop their skillset.

Yes. The school conducts age-appropriate entry assessments for all prospective students prior to enrolment

Brief description of entry evaluation required

The type of assessment varies by year group:
Nursery / Foundation 1: A basic skills and developmental assessment covering speech, language and communication, physical development, and personal, social and emotional development (PSED).
Reception / Foundation 2: As above, with additional assessment of physical development, including fine motor skills.
Years 1–6: A basic skills assessment aligned with national expectations in English and Mathematics, conducted by the class teacher. Pupils are expected to meet end-of-year expectations appropriate to their chronological age. Where further evidence of ability is required, students may be invited to a Taster Day.
Years 7–10: Students sit an age-related assessment in English, along with a CAT test. Year 10 applicants joining after the start of the academic year also complete an English assessment and the YELLIS assessment, based on their option choices.
Sixth Form (Year 12): Entry is subject to meeting specific academic entry conditions, which may include assessment outcomes, in line with Sixth Form admission criteria.

Waiting list

Yes. Admission offers are subject to availability. If a class reaches capacity, the school may close admissions for that year group and establish a waiting list. When the number of applications exceeds the places available, applicants are placed on a waiting list, which is maintained until the end of Term 2 only. After this point, the waiting list is closed and availability is reviewed for subsequent admissions

Deadline for registration (new academic year)

Admissions for the new academic year open in January of each year and remain open until the end of Term 2 of the new academic year, subject to availability.

Yes. The school allows students to join an academic year that has already started, subject to availability.
This applies to pupils applying from Nursery up to Key Stage 3, where registration remains open until classes reach full capacity.
For pupils applying to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, each application is considered individually, and applicants must meet the school’s admissions criteria before an offer of a place can be made.

JPGS pride ourselves with the range of Academic, Social, Community and External Clubs and Extra-Curricular Activities on offer, JPGS has always had a variety of interesting after school clubs to cater for all types of interests expanding well past the academic daily lessons. JPGS is also provider of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and host Model United Nations Conferences.
