As an American parent with children who have attended this school for the past three years, I can confidently say it is the best school north of Chiang Mai. The facilities, teachers, academics, and overall community are outstanding. Before enrolling our children, we researched and visited multiple schools in the region, and none came close to what One Hope offers.
Academically, the school is strong and well structured. For perspective, my brother’s children attend a well-regarded public school in Texas, and I have found that the curriculum and academic pacing at One Hope are actually ahead in many areas. More importantly, my children genuinely love going to school every day, which says a lot about the environment the staff and leadership have created.
I was surprised to see the negative review posted here, as it does not reflect our experience at all and sounds more like a disgruntled employee than a parent. From everything we have observed over the past three years, the school operates as a legitimate international school with strong English instruction and a diverse community.
For families considering schools in Northern Thailand, One Hope has been an excellent choice for our family, and we have been very happy with both the education and the community our children have experienced here.

Very bad school. The owner has a bad attitude, as do some of the local and Filipino teachers. I don’t think this can be called an international school because the owner isn’t even a native speaker and comes from a second-language country. Very disappointing for me.
