We are a bilingual primary and secondary school (German/English) with a focus on mathematics and science. Under the roof of a distinguished, listed building, our school offers optimal learning conditions, where natural curiosity and individual needs can find their place from Grade 1 all the way through to Grade 10. This program will help adolescents to cope progressively with their own personal challenges, will strengthen their courage and self-belief and pave the way for a fulfilling career path built around their own ideas and future plans. Our bilingual education in both German and English, with an emphasis on maths and science, as well as a solid general education and digital literacy ensures that our students grow up to be global thinkers in an interdependent world and to be locally active in and around Berlin. The talented and motivated PSB team is currently made up of 17 different nationalities and is oriented to the lives and the worlds of our children and young people. The goal is to prepare them for the challenges of the future and, at the same time, to care for their safety, security and well-being in a safe school setting.

Our private school offers a bilingual community in German and English for children and young people from nursery and primary school to secondary school. We are housed in an attractive red-brick building in central Berlin which dates from the late 19th century. Directly opposite our building is Gartenplatz square which provides a green area, a playground and a soccer field. We make use of this valuable space whenever possible to play, relax or do open-air teaching.
We seek to maintain a cosmopolitan, warm and welcoming environment. Our children at the nursery, educators, students, teachers and parents very much enjoy the open and friendly atmosphere we have created.

Quentin Blake Grundschule is a public primary school with the special educational focus of bilingual education. A major objective is integrated bilingual learning groups with bilingual instruction beginning in first grade. The students and teaching staff in each class are half native or mother tongue speakers of either German or English.

Charles-Dickens Elementary School was opened in 1971. In the 1992 school year the Europe School branch was added. The school is named after the famous author and philanthropist Charles John Huffam Dickens (1821 – 1870). Charles-Dickens-Grundschule has both an English-German Europe Branch and a regular German Branch. The school is located between the Olympic Stadium and Berlins’ Grunewald forest, with very convenient connections to the public transportation system. A third building was added to the spacious school grounds in 2007.
EUROPE BRANCH
The aim of our Europe School is to teach German and English speaking children together at the same time. Ideally classes are made up of 50 percent German and 50 percent English mother tongue children.

The bilingual Freie Schule Ann-Sophie Berlin is an independently managed private school. It uses the Berlin state curriculum and complies with all statutory requirements – but it is also a school with a difference, because it allows plenty of scope for children to develop not only their academic skills but their personalities. At Freien Schule Anne-Sophie subjects are not only taught in traditional classes, but it has learn teams that are made up of all classes grade 7-10.
