Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

As the only International School offering the prestigious British Columbian curriculum in Thailand, BCISB is in a league of its own. BCISB launched successfully in Thailand on September 3rd, 2007. It is a small sized off shore Canadian school with a full sized International Program. Located near the up and coming business district of Bang Wa.

Its goal is to immerse your children in a safe, English speaking environment where they may grow as individuals, explore their unique interests and learn to be self-sufficient in an increasingly competitive and global society.
The school program is accredited by both the Ministry of Education in British Columbia, Canada and by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Thailand. This means that students receive graduation degrees from both Thai and Canadian Ministries, which places them in a position of great competitive advantage.

Teaching approach of the school

The learning process utilizes interactive instruction methods such as discussions, debates, teamwork activities, and community service projects to elicit imaginative thinking, problem solving and decision making toward a goal of meaningful insight. Learning how to learn is key to the students’ ultimate success in life, and the Canadian education system places great importance on this principle.
