This school tends to attract Caucasian families and Thai families (including those with dual citizenship) who have financial means and/or social status. Even though you may not fall into those groups, you will still be able to fit in and enjoy daily life there, as long as there are no major issues and you are comfortable with both the academic and sports-focused environment.

However, the school can be quite political. Many long-term teachers seem to have two different sides, and their true attitudes only appear when a problem arises. Whenever a child faces any kind of issue, the school tends to take the side of families with money or government connections. They may not offer much support in bullying cases, and parents are forced not to contact the class teacher and to simply “forget” what happened.

Online learning has been a disaster. I keep asking for assistance both through their online learning feedback forms and directly from my child's teacher, and they have no solutions but just keep doing the same thing. I am so frustrated as a parent and wish that we had never chosen this school. I understand that the pandemic has been hard on everyone, but I have been begging for help for my child, and they are offering nothing.

Great and caring teachers and staff. Although it’s a big school it feels small, everyone knows who your kid is!

BPS is an excellent school with a highly integrated curriculum guiding students to become global citizens. The diversity of cultures is impressive, creating a truly unique international community.

The facilities at BPS are top-class. Along with the academics, the sports, arts and other extra-curricular offerings allow students to experience an expansive list of activities and opportunities.

We have been at BPS for 10 years and it continues to impress us. We could not wish for a better education and life experience for our daughters.

This is our third year at Patana, its more of a home to us, my kids want to go to school in the weekend! I remember when I was their age (6 and 8) I never looked forward to Monday - it's so much different with Patana, it's more than just a school, it's a community.

I think one of the schools great strengths is that they are grounded in traditions but not beholden to them. The schools consistently reassess best practices and isn’t afraid to try new things. One of my favorite parts is how seriously they take mental health. Students are consistently offered the chance to address their mental health as an organic part of the learning process not sth only ‘those’ people need.

Many people are disappointed when they go back home because they can’t find a school as good as Patana in their home country.

Is the school perfect..no way. But having attended many International schools in Hong Kong and Sydney, Patana is amongst the best I’ve seen. The emphasis will not only be academic, so if that’s the only factor that you care about Patana may be different to your expectations.
