Dedicated staff/programs for students with special learning needs

Our motto is: “From fitting students into a structure to creating a structure that fits the student.”
Each student is supported by highly specialized academic coaches who accompany them throughout their learning journey. We design personalized learning plans that are continuously adapted during the academic year. If a student begins to fall behind in a subject, additional targeted support is provided to ensure they regain confidence and stay on track.

Learning support offered

Students are taught how they learn. Metacognition, executive functioning, and effective study strategies are embedded into daily academic life—not left to chance. Students are not expected to “figure it out” on their own.
Workload, timelines, and expectations are actively coordinated across subjects, reducing unnecessary stress before it builds. Emotional signals are recognized early—not after burnout.
Students are supported in regulating anxiety, building self-efficacy, and approaching challenges with clarity rather than fear.

The school supports gifted, able and talented students

High standards become sustainable when learning is well designed. At Argo International School Vienna, we support gifted and high-ability students by focusing on how each student learns, not just how fast they progress. We look at their strengths, interests, and how they handle challenge, and adjust expectations accordingly.
In practice, this means offering greater depth rather than simply moving faster. Students work on more complex tasks, independent projects, and higher-level thinking, while also developing the skills to manage their learning. With small groups and close guidance, we can adjust challenge in real time and help students build both strong performance and independence.

Facilities at the school

At Argo School, we provide a carefully designed learning environment that goes beyond traditional facilities. Students have access to dedicated study and collaboration spaces that support focus, independent learning, and small-group work.
We integrate science and technology through hands-on learning in areas such as robotics, computer science, and STEM projects, rather than relying solely on traditional lab settings.
In addition, we make extensive use of Vienna as an extended classroom. Students regularly visit museums, cultural institutions, concerts, and educational events, gaining real-world exposure and interdisciplinary learning experiences.
Our approach focuses less on static facilities and more on creating a dynamic, responsive learning environment tailored to each student.

Sports facilities at the school

We do not have our own on-site sports facilities. Instead, we follow each student’s individual interests and facilitate access to nearby top-class sports facilities in Vienna. Through partnerships and local connections, students are able to engage in a wide range of sports in high-quality environments that match their level and interests.
