teachers are fantastic, academics are meh, but the facilities, admin, regulation system, discipline, and school overall atmosphere are all terrible -- do not recommend this school at all.

SPPS provides student a specific academics that shows negative and positive effects on students. This school has a strong, definite core values and has its academic values. However, it only focuses on academics, no extracurricular provided in the school. Students want extracurricular activities provided by the school, but the school’s main focus is in harsh academics. Moreover, school’s location honestly feels like a jail, with no outdoor activities for students to grow and learn through outdoor activities. There is no freedom for drowned, with plenty of rules to be followed. Lastly, students get extreme amount of stress, leading to lack of sleep due to so many exams coming upon students. The school kinda focuses too much on academics and police students too much. We cannot eat snacks in school, even though we stay until 4, and we also cannot run around freely. I think that this is why students in Saint Paul are getting too much stress nowadays especially the Mid-Term exams and the Final exams.

The school focuses mainly on academics, but is not so supportive when it comes to ECs and club activities. It is more like “figure it out urself” rather than actually helping. The teachers really have a big gap between the good ones and the bad ones. I don’t think the school is so wise when it comes to getting teachers, and some teachers are using more energy in policing students instead of actually being help.
