DSSI focuses in particular on students’ strengths and encourage their development to achieve the best possible growth of skills, both in inclusive classroom settings and in small groups. Through individualized support measures, DSSI's aim is to inspire and sustain a love of learning while teaching effective work habits and learning strategies. This enables students to take responsibility for and manage their own learning. Learning progress is documented through individual support plans and discussed regularly with students and their parents. For students with specific difficulties in mathematics (dyscalculia), reading and writing (dyslexia), or language development (speech therapy), DSSI's team of specialist support teachers provides individualized support. |
