As soon as I first walked in this place, I was hooked (let alone my daughter). All the staff treat the children like equals and act as their guides, instead of pointless scolding or patronising. The classrooms are full of stimulating toys and activities, everything is child-sized (shelves, kitchen sink etc.) English is the universal language there and though my daughter could speak English before, I can tell that her language skills have gone up considerably. She always seems excited about her day spent there. She generally likes the food that is served. To me, the parent, everyone in the school has always been very attentive and helpful. We also enjoy the extra-curricular events that the school occasionally organizes. Unlike some other kindergartens we visited, we can see exactly what the tuition fee goes into and it is money well spent. I can heartily recommend this place to anyone who wants their kids to grow into independent people with a head start in life.

We thank you for all kind support to Houpu. He became a proud member of Toddler classroom led by Ms Lindsey. We believe the relationship and strong bind between him and teachers and friends will continue to affect Houpu to become more confident to new challenges ahead, keep his sincere smile and incredible progress which he inherited from IMSP. If you want authentic Montessori education for kids encouraging independence growth in own pace, you could have a look here, well organized program in Prague, reliable and stable teachers with high standard of education skill and atitude, which creates a friendly community for kids.

Our kids were students at the Montessori School of Prague when we were living there 10 years ago, at that point they were 5 and 3 years old. When we moved to Prague, we were looking for a bilingual school and we loved this school, so much so that from then on our children have continued with the Montessori system in the other countries in which we have lived. It is one of the best Montessori schools we have ever known.

Our son started in the toddler class last year and he is in primary now, soon finishing his second year at IMSP. At this point I cannot imagine him going to any other school. He really enjoys his time here, loves the school and the teachers. I get him, I would like to go to this school if I could turn back time :D The kindness of everyone here makes it feel like we are all part of a big family and since the school is small, I do feel like I know most people here.
As for what children can learn here, I cannot stress enough the importance of social intelligence, understanding emotions, speaking up/being a great communicator and staying curious. I have no idea what profession will be the best choice for when my son grows up, but I'm sure all these skills will be super beneficial for him to deal with whatever life has in store. Our daughter is attending IMSP Primary 2 class since October 2020 and we have never seen her to blossom more before. She is looking forward to school every day, returning with a big smile every afternoon. The school environment is welcoming, kind and friendly. The IMSP team is professional and supportive. We are very happy that we are part of this unique community.
