I have been a parent at this wonderful school for over 15 years. My three children have benefitted greatly from the warm and welcoming environment and have created such lasting bonds with students from around the world. One of my children is entering the DP programme this year and he is thriving in every way. He is applying to universities across the globe and has excellent support from the university and careers counsellors at the school. My two elder children graduated with wonderful results in the DP and both attended top ranked universities, one now has a successful career in the UK and both often reflects on how ICS prepared them both academically and socially every step of the way. As a parent I would 100% recommend this school to global families, the community is amazing, the teachers, the heads of school and all the staff make ICS such a special place to be.

We had to move to Madrid in the middle of the school year, and I was so worried about how my child would adjust. Honestly, I was braced for tears and a tough transition.

I can't say enough good things about ICS. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so kind. The teachers and the other kids went out of their way to make my child feel welcome.

Within a week, he was coming home chatting about friends and actually looking forward to school the next morning. It's such a relief as a parent to see your child happy to go to school every day. If you're worried about a mid-year move, this is the place.

Teachers and staff interaction with students and parents needs much improvement

Like a fair number of schools in La Moraleja, this institution is run like a business and not as an institution for education. There is very little support for students and the school does not handle challenges well at all. There is an alarming amount of class bullying that goes unabated. The people in admissions come off as arrogant. The class sizes are enormous and the classrooms themselves are cramped and not well equipped. Just a really poor institution.

This school tries to upsell you in the primary years, but as time goes by the quality of the parents, teachers and student body begins to show. By the time kids are 8 or 9, they have to resort to the use of tutors or use of extra help to stay afloat which is really reflective of the poor academics. Fundamentally, there are a lot of non-native teachers, and the student to teacher ratio is extremely high. This is notwithstanding that it is the most expensive school in Spain. What this translates to, is poor english language skills for most of the students (just sit around and listen them speak), and poor academics. Bullying and abuse is a constant, which a mixed bag of parents from all walks of life, and in many cases questionable ones. Good sports facilities. On the downside, things are chaotic in this school, especially anything that has to do with administration. The counselling department in the secondary school is deficient and staffed by incompetent personnel.

because the teachers teach very good and take care very well of the students..

My parrents went to this school so this is how I ended up here. however the school is not the same as when my parrents were here. there is little personal attention, a weak Spanish department, and not as much discipline as in my last school. Counting days before I graduate!

few years ago my kids were at this school. The school location was ideal and they have good facilties. However, in spite of this we decided to move our kids to another school. lack of discipline, and lack of personal attention, specially if your child needed extra help (counselling) made us decide that a change was needed.

the school facilities are good but thats just about the only good thing. cramp classrooms etc finally made me move my kid to another school.

too expensive for what it offers. made a very bad impresion on me. looking for another Int. school.

As a student of this school, I think it a very friendly environment for students where they can build their skills as I think they don't teach us to memorize for exams but they teach so we can stand on our own two feet when we grow up.
