Being born in London and having grown up throughout the English primary school system (state school), going to EIFA was an amazing transition to secondary for our daughter in September 2020.

Until then, we had managed her learning of the French language via Saturday schools, private classes and, later on, CNED tuition, so joining EIFA then was a step up into a fully integrated bilingual education.

The fact that kids have uneven level of French or English was handled well by the school and never at the expense of academic progress. In hindsight, probably an asset to be able to collaborate with diverse profiles.

Overall, EIFA offers the best of the IB curriculum with the added bonus of bilingualism, opening even more opportunities down the line to go back to a particular educational system (e.g. UK, FR or IB).

Finally, under new leadership with Francoise and Stephane, the school is in good hands to continue grow and provide top quality learning in and outside of the classroom.

EIFA International School's bilingual, positive and "growth-mindset" fostering approach to education contributes to a unique learning experience and environment, nurturing children on all aspects - from literacy and numeracy to sports, arts and music - on both the academic and the personal development front.

Thanks to its excellent quality teachers and staff, an impressively high staff-to-children ratio, children develop this rare ability to explore, question, discern, think outside the box and create by themselves - well beyond bluntly memorising and reproducing text books - all with passion and confidence. In turn, as they feel safe and cared for, children learn seamlessly, with pleasure.

The primary school's bilingual curriculum has been efficiently designed, leveraging both the academic rigour of the French education system and the positive approach of the British and Amer... read full review

Our children went to EIFA school during our two years stay in London.
They had a wonderful experience and we were very satisfied with the teaching level, the availability of the teachers and the shared human values.

We have been delighted by the warmth, personal attention and bilingual curriculum of the school in our nearly five years there. The school's small size gives it a familial feel and the children know not only their classmates, but also those in the other grades from shared activities and after-school clubs. The school celebrates cultures, languages and different backgrounds to help all feel welcome and appreciated.

The school is entirely bilingual and offers to our children the best of both world: a combination of the strong French academic approach (but which can be sometimes narrow) with the balanced, opened-to-the-world British approach: both in the values and in the fact that sport, oral expression, art, drama etc... are seen as important topic, along with sciences and human sciences topic, to help children become rounded individuals able to adapt to different cultures, study paths and work environment.

We have 3 children who each are very different but all thriving at school as the school as well as each teacher is keen to understand each pupil: while there is a strong and clear framework and program, there is never a one-size-fits all approach to the pedagogy.

Finally seeing children switch naturally from English to French with no accent, while many of them come from yet another country and master already another language is very impressive.
