| Qualities and characteristics best defining the school |
Colégio Planalto started its activity on October 9, 1978 with the aim of helping parents in the education of their children, according to a Christian perspective. From the Optimist program at Kindergarten, to the International Baccalaureate (IB) at secondary level, the school offers a cutting-edge educational program with the help of a carefully chosen and continuously trained staff. Education differentiated by sex addresses differences in the rates of development of boys and girls. The Planalto, after pre-school, is intended for boys. The separation between boys and girls allows for specific educational approaches that demonstrate a better academic performance, the harmonious development of personality and the socialization process itself. |
| Teaching approach of the school |
Planalto aims at personalized education, based on the prevailing role of the tutor/preceptor and on human formation, that is, the personal improvement of its students, through a solid intellectual, cultural and artistic education combined with a demanding academic preparation and all this in close collaboration with the parents. |
