When you choose a private school, you expect certain basics: class sizes that support real learning (often 24+ per class here), trained and inspiring teachers, leadership grounded in pedagogy, and a culture that sees each child as a growing individual — not a revenue stream. Sadly, this school failed on all counts.
The management team comes from commercial, not educational backgrounds, and it shows. Priorities are financial, not developmental. Communication is polished and over regular, but what lies behind it is outdated teaching methods — rote memorisation, repetition, drill — with little regard for critical thinking or engagement. If you choose the bilingual/IB track, be aware that many of the teachers are not native English speakers. In fact, your child may speak better English than they do — and will likely struggle to understand lessons delivered through heavy French accents.
Extracurricular activities are advertised, but rarely visible aside from on social media. Despite the glossy promises, I never once saw my child meaningfully involved in a club or enrichment opportunity. While the shared facilities are commendable, the secondary classrooms resemble cramped rabbit hutches — offering little space to breathe, let alone move.
What is most concerning, however, is the prevailing attitude towards the students: they are not treated with genuine respect or seen for their potential. There is a noticeable lack of warmth, encouragement, or belief in the youth they are supposedly guiding. Make no mistake — in this institution, children are at best, a line on a spreadsheet and at worst, a sheer inconvenience.
A school should be a place of learning, growth and care. This felt more like a transactional environment with little soul. We regret our time here deeply and feel relieved to have moved on as our child is thriving at a real neighbouring school.

Can only recommend !
After going to many different schools in Geneva, I always got issues, got bullied, etc.
But at Florimont, it was a whole different story. Got included in a group of people in a matter of minutes after my arrival, and spent good times there. The teacher were super comprehensive and always helpful, trying to help you whenever you needed it.

The primary school is run as a business. Total lack of basic pedagogy, no care for the psicologycal wellbeing or development of children social skills. There is no space for trying to understand the children needs, just teaching the lessons on the books and tons of homeworks, that have to be done at home, even if kids are in school until 16:30.
There is also no communication between the management and the teachers, and no transparency to the parents either, so parents are not made aware of issues in time, and then expensive courses are suggested so that the child can "be helped" .
On the top of that, it is supposed to be a bilingual school, but the teaching of English is with 100 years old methods, and it seems like a very secondary thing in the school curriculum.
On paper might seem cheaper than other private schools, but that's because you pay many things on the side (books, food, any single activities).
