My children have been studied at SIS Danang for more than 8 years, under Integrated Programme. The eldest child had improved a lot through years in academics, communication and extra curricula activities. Thanks to good results in those areas, my child could apply and get some universities’s scholarships in Europe and Vietnam.
Once I pay school fees, I don’t need to pay extra for excursions. Meal fee, bookpack fee, uniform fee and transportation fee are collected separatedly, which sometimes makes me confused or missed. But I see those fees are also collected separately at other international and private schools here. Meals provide more menus in Asian cuisines, while my children preferred Western dishes more. But they said they enjoyed the meals with friends there. In general, it’s not so good or bad.

It was very difficult to understand if this was actually a good school, because it does not publish academic results. For a school with such high fees, it is surprising that exam results or clear academic outcomes are not shared publicly. Many other international schools publish this information to help parents make informed decisions, but here we had to decide based mostly on what we heard.
Over time, we have come to understand from report cards and from speaking with other families that academic results are below average for a school at this price level, and that the reputation is clearly different from the reality.

I am genuinely concerned about whether this school prioritises students’ well-being. While the school promotes itself as having qualified teachers, my experience as a parent raises serious questions about the level of care and consideration shown toward students.
My child spends approximately eight hours a day at school, yet still comes home with a heavy workload of additional homework. This raises concerns about balance, student fatigue, and whether learning time is being used effectively. My child also reports feeling that teachers are frequently critical and unhappy, which negatively affects motivation and emotional well-being.
The school charges additional fees for clubs, yet these activities do not appear to be engaging or enriching. According to my child, clubs feel more like a way to pass time rather than meaningful or enjoyable experiences. Additionally, a so-called “pr... read full review

This was once a warm and caring school where children were supported academically and culturally. Unfortunately, over the past four years, changes in leadership have left the school almost unrecognisable.
Teacher professionalism has noticeably declined. It is not uncommon to see staff spending extended periods outside during school hours, often scrolling on phones or smoking, rather than engaging with students.
Parents are required to pay for field trips well in advance, yet students are taken on the same trips year after year, offering little educational value or variety. Students who require additional academic support are frequently advised to get a tutor, and these tutors are offered as a paid side service by one of the school’s own teachers, which raises concerns about conflict of interest.
The school enforces strict rules on students not bringing sugary foods, yet simult... read full review
