Classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, projectors and banks of computers to make learning come alive, along with Apple TVs connected in every classroom.
Information Computer Technology, or ICT as BSB calls it, is a core subject starting from Year One and the school's designated computer labs in Secondary school and portable laptop trolley for classrooms in Primary school enable each student to explore different technology platforms, using the latest hardware and software.
BSB is continually looking to challenge its students, using new hardware like its 3D printer. The LEGO Robotics lab provides an opportunity for students to explore the amazing world of robotics and compete in LEGO robotics competition.

BSB is an inclusive team which consists of a SEN Coordinator (SENCo) and Counsellor working together with a multidisciplinary team (class teacher, teaching assistants and if necessary external specialists). The team’s aim is to provide additional support, where required, to assist all students at BSB to meet their individual potential. The Inclusion Team has strong links with class teachers, parents and students which are critical for the educational and emotional success of the students in the school's care.

Across the school, academically strong students will be challenged in differentiated groups (called sets) within their classroom in those subjects in which they excell. In addition, BSB offers a fast track IGCSE programme for its more able students.
