After attending two schools, one international and the other with a local methodology, finding St. Peter's School has been a gift. The first thing you notice is the family atmosphere: everyone knows each other, they call you by name, and there's a warmth rarely found in other schools.
Academically, the level is high, especially in the MYP (I know the Diploma Programme is also very high, but I can't comment on that since I don't have children at that stage yet). The program is very well structured; you can tell they strive to give each student their best, and they do so without anyone feeling lost ." The attention is truly personalized.
As for the teachers, they are very professional and experienced, but most importantly, you can tell they enjoy teaching. They genuinely engage with the children, motivating them, listening to them, and are always there to support them both academically and personally. Compared to other schools, it has something special: it combines the best of a quality education with a very modern methodology.
Without a doubt, the best choice.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful words. What you describe is exactly what we strive to be: an open, human school — close to our students and families, empathetic, caring, proudly diverse, and academically strong. And yes, our teachers are at the heart of it all. We’re very grateful for the dedication and commitment they bring to their work every day.
Thank you for your trust and for being part of our community!

Our daughter has been at the school for three years now and she is very happy. As parents, we truly appreciate the school’s innovative and forward-thinking program, its modern approach to education, the close and supportive family environment, and the fact that parents are listened to and their opinions are genuinely valued.
We moved her to St Peter’s School from her previous school and we immediately noticed the difference. Overall, we are extremely happy with our experience.

Our dauther studied this year at St peters school year 8 and we are grateful for the experience she had.
The curriculum is broad wide and innovative, subjects that connects the pupils to todays world reality, “burning subjects”
The method: make the children think, how to approach to problems, analyse and solving them.
The teachers and staff- professional and dedicated. You can feel that they love what they do, they care about the children and their evolution. Response “on spot” to problems or subjects accrued.
the premises itself is modern and equipped with the last technologies.

We are beyond impressed with St. Peter's for our 7-year-old. The most impressive aspect is their capacity to actually execute a well-rounded program. It is not just lip service to the commonly advertised (newish) ideas of "helping each child flourish in their own unique way", "preparing your children for the future with a modern program", "look we also have humanities classes" and "helping your child become a global citizen". Their team goes above and beyond in delivering on these goals. All while keeping their standard academic program well placed nationwide.
What St. Peter's is not is your standard structure/hierarchy, academics-first school. And that to us is a plus.

I am a parent at the school and my wife, my children and I are very happy with St. Peter's School.

When I first visited St. Peter’s School Barcelona, it looked like a promising and well-structured school. Unfortunately, my experience as a student was very disappointing and far from what was initially presented.
From the start, I felt poorly treated by certain teachers and staff. Some behaved in ways that made me feel targeted or belittled for no clear reason. The atmosphere was not welcoming, and I often felt unsupported.
Social integration was difficult as well. Many students were quick to insult others, even during something as simple as a football game. What concerned me most was that the administration failed to take consistent action in these cases.
There was a situation where I received a harsh punishment after reacting to repeated provocations, while the other student involved — who had a history of serious behavior issues — faced no consequences at all. It felt incr... read full review

We wanted an international school and St.Peter’s was our first choice. I have a fifteen year old boy and a thirteen year old girl. We were here since they were little and we have never regretted. It’s more than just a school, it’s a big family for us.
Normally kids are not happy going to school each day but, in our case, we can’t take their smiles out of their faces. On the other hand, the parents are grateful for the attention we get from the staff and specially from their teachers. There’s nothing else we can ask for.
Now they are studying the new MYP and IB program, it’s a different method of studying compared with the normal program. We couldn’t have chosen better.
Thanks for all these years St. Peter’s.

Adapting to a new country as a family is challenging but the professionalism of the St Peter's family eased it for us where our child's education is concerned. We wanted a school with a nuturing environment for our child to thrive in his early childhood and were drawn to St Peter's during our school visit. Our child enjoys going to school and we are very impressed and appreciative of the efforts and dedication of the teachers and staff, in ensuring a loving and safe environment for our child to develop and prosper. The teachers and staff constantly project an enthusiastic outlook for the betterment of the students, see every child with potential of his/her own and always strive for close partnership with parents. We saw how they rose to the occasion as an institution in overcoming the challenges of the lockdown last year and this ongoing pandemic. Our child looks forward and spea... read full review

"We chose St Peters School for our child, because when we arrived in Barcelona 3 years ago we wanted to take the opportunity to be bilingual (because we are both French).
Children don't learn, they play (they don't get overloaded with grammar and dictations unlike the French program), they learn to write, read, express themselves, gain confidence, speak in front of others and put on shows.
We also appreciate the wearing of the uniform.
There are children of several nationalities in the class: from Germany, India, Italy, Brazil, China … we are very satisfied our child has become bilingual in a few months and is feeling very comfortable.
The student is at the center of the school and of everyone's concern, there is a permanent exchange whether by email, daily report or orally between teachers, students, parents and the administrative team.
The aim is to prepare children to become responsible adults.
We appreciate having made this choice.”

The school has been working on its School Project from a very innovative perspective, reinforcing Science and Critical Thinking. And now they also have introduced International Baccalaureate in Primary and Upper School. I've seen quite a change in my daughter's education in a couple of years, and in the times we are living, I really appreciate it. The teachers showed a great interest and caring approach, not only during the lockdown but now we are back to normal classes.
