I am very happy with Kensington School in Barcelona!
I highly recommend this school for any foreigners or even Spanish families that are looking for a real British education.
Teachers and staff are great and super attentive with all the children.

The school offers an excellent academic education while maintaining a warm, family-oriented environment. My children are very happy at the school, and I really appreciate the balance between academic excellence and the strong sense of community that makes it feel like a family.

We have four children at Kensington — three in the Senior School and one in the Junior School — and our experience has been exceptional.
We moved our children to Kensington after previously attending an American school, where we felt they were simply not being challenged enough academically. The difference since coming to Kensington has been remarkable. Our children are thriving, genuinely engaged in their learning, and receiving an excellent education that challenges them while still supporting them as individuals.

My son has just finished his A Levels following his GCSEs at Kensington and both he and I couldn’t be more happy with his results.
He’s now off to his first choice University in the UK. The school made every effort to get him where he needed to be. He is on the spectrum so their dedication and personal efforts meant the world to his results and we are incredibly grateful to all his teachers and entire school team.
I just can’t recommend this school enough, they’re a special group of people and the family environment is outstanding.

Communication with parents is poor — decisions are often made without notice or consultation. The school is small, with limited facilities, and while they used to arrange access to external spaces like swimming pools or sports centres, they now do so less often. Fees increase by 5–10% each year, and new charges are regularly added, reflecting a focus on profit over students. There’s high teacher turnover, with experienced staff replaced by less qualified newcomers. Older children are often poorly treated.
