If there is no other way possible, in an emergency case we would need to offer online-classes as well. But we would try to find solutions where children can be at least 50% present in our beautiful Montessori Environment.

Do students practice religion at the school? What religion?

Montessori is open to all world religions/Spirituality. As we are here embedded in a Hindu area, and half of the children are part of the Bali Culture, we as a Montessori school appreciate this by celebrating special Ceremonies, like Hari Raya Saraswati, the Hindu Goddess for Education & Arts. Before Christmas we also explain children about the roots of these holidays, or Idul Fitri, Buda Vesak Fest,...

How does the school accommodate non-religious students or students of a different religion?

We share and celebrate the diversity of our children's religious backgrounds. As Montessori Education is internationally well know as Peace Education, we are happy to support different ways of cultural and religious/spiritual expressions.

External examinations or assessments available

We use the International Montessori Curriculum, what is internationally accepted.
Indonesian students will have to do examinations to be accredited by the government (grade 6, 9, 12)

We did not have yet the case of indonesian government examinations (grade 6 onwards)

Montessori Materials are in general sensorial and practical to use, so this supports already a lot the brain of the students to deeper understand

Entry evaluation for students

Children do trial periods, like a day, week or sometimes even until 3 weeks (if applicants for the Primaria/Sekundaria classroom have no Montessori background)
Interested parents will do also observations to understand what is going on in a Montessori classroom, as our daily structure is pretty different from a formal school
