Our school is a completely non-denominational institution. However, Catholic Religious Education is offered as an optional subject for those families who choose it. It is taught purely as an academic subject and does not involve any religious practice. |

Our students achieve excellent results in external examinations. We have a 100% pass rate in the Spanish University Admission Exam (PAU), with a high percentage of students achieving scores above 12 and 13 points out of 14. In the June 2026 PAU session, our highest score was 13.5 out of 14 points. |

Yes, homework is assigned depending on the students’ age. We always provide personalised tasks that are adapted to each student’s individual needs, learning pace, and characteristics. |

If considered necessary, the student may also be asked to complete a level assessment in key subjects. |

At Palacio de Granda, children from the age of 1 enjoy a safe and stimulating environment. Highly qualified teachers and assistants support and guide the children during their Early Years.

Our project based methodology provides children with the tools and techniques they need for problem solving, developing both their autonomy and team skills. It inspires them to play an active and innovative role in their education, fostering curiosity and the joy of discovery.
Each of our students receives individual attention to help them develop to the best of their abilities and maximise their potential.
Our academic programme, which includes the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), is supplemented by a variety of activities during the academic year to enrich their learning through personal experience. We have also implemented the Singapore Maths methodology where students acquire all the necessary maths strategies to be able to apply and contextualize them.
We are a truly bilingual school as English is acquired in the same way as the mother tongue, in a natural way. We strive for immersion in the language and this forms a large part of our every-day life at school. We are a Cambridge University examination centre and offer our students the opportunity to obtain one of the most prestigious English certifications. We add a third language (French or German) in Year 3 of Primary.
We reinforce the multilingual nature of our learning continuing with the third language selected in Primary. We also focus our attention on the and interpersonal development of our students, which is very important at this age. An individual approach to education, the efficient use of technology (including personal chromebooks), and emotional development are important features of our school.
The ESO education programme includes an optional curriculum with enriching and diverse academic content and support. In 4º ESO, students can choose optional subjects, preparing them well for the Baccalaureate (Sixth Form).
We supplement classroom learning with the use of digital technology, valued by the students and can be accessed from home.
We offer three Baccalaureate programmes: Science, Social Science, and the Arts. Our highly qualified teaching staff, combined with personal attention and academic support, contribute to student success and open the doors to universities of choice. Our students attend university open days in order to learn about degree courses and the professional career options these lead to.
Our well-rounded education is supplemented by extracurricular activities, conversational English clubs, and optional subjects such as Personal and Physical Development, French or German and special research projects. Our students will aim to achieve a C1 level of English at the end of this stage.
We offer a wide range of options for enriching the Baccalaureate programme, such as new challenges and opportunities to develop special skills and responsibilities.
With a total area of more than 47,000 m2 and a constructed area of 5,000 m2, Palacio de Granda has modern facilities in the middle of a natural environmental setting.
