Oxford International College is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Yr 13 student, Charmaine, who has been awarded the prestigious Kwok Scholarship to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at the University of Oxford from Autumn 2026. As one of only two students selected each year, this represents an exceptional accomplishment and recognition of her academic excellence, leadership, and character.
Throughout her time at OIC, Charmaine has distinguished herself not only through outstanding academic performance, but also through her involvement in debating, economics, public speaking, and Model United Nations. Her intellectual curiosity, ambition, and commitment to supporting others have made her a valued member of the college community and an inspiring role model to younger students.
The Kwok Scholarship is among the most competitive undergraduate awards available to students from Hong Kong and Mainland China progressing to Oxford University, with candidates assessed on academic ability, leadership potential, and long-term contribution to society. Charmaine’s success is a remarkable reflection of both her talent and dedication. Read more in our school’s article.
