Entry evaluation for students

Yes. Applicants are assessed through OIC subject assessments (e.g. mathematics/sciences, depending on their subject choices). In addition, students applying for Year 11 and Year 12 sit the CAT4 (Cognitive Abilities Test) and the Oxford Placement Test (OPT) for English. If an applicant has already provided an IELTS score, the OPT is not required.

Brief description of entry evaluation required

Applicants complete OIC subject assessments relevant to their chosen subjects, with a passing requirement of 60% or above. Additional evaluations include the CAT4 for Year 11 and Year 12 entry and the Oxford Placement Test (OPT) for English (unless an IELTS score is provided). In addition to assessment outcomes, student interviews are conducted and previous school reports are carefully reviewed as part of the admissions process.
