Facilities at the school

We are delighted to share details of the bold construction and development programme that is underway at British Primary School of Wilanow and which will provide outstanding new facilities for our pupils to pursue their individual learning journeys. The construction project, which is well underway, will add three interconnecting wings to the current building with a:

Purpose-built Preschool
The new building will have the capacity for nine, purpose-built pre-school classrooms, along with multipurpose spaces, a dining area and dedicated play area. The new Preschool will be a safe, secure and stimulating setting for BSW’s youngest learners as they start the Walk of the Lion.
Purpose-built Upper Primary wing
There will be eight Upper Primary classrooms in the new building, along with a well-resourced new library and bright, modern spaces for music, drama, science and art.
Sports Hall
The new building will include a large, modern sports hall. While its main use will be for physical education including a wide range of sports and competitions, the space can also be transformed for school performances and whole-school assemblies.
Our outdoor sports facilities will also be improved. Land adjacent to the new sports hall will be levelled off to create first-class outdoor sports fields ensuring that BSW pupils benefit from outstanding learning both in and outside of the classroom.

This exciting project is scheduled to be operational for the start of the 2024/25 and will cement BSW’s position as the school of choice for internationally-minded families in Warsaw.
