The Tanto International School

The Tanto International School is one of a small number of independent schools in Stockholm licensed to offer a complete international education in English. We deliver the English National Curriculum with an international perspective, guiding students through the Cambridge Learning Pathway towards IGCSE qualifications.
Our school is an ideal choice for families who are relocating internationally, returning from abroad, or seeking an English-medium education that is both academically rigorous and easily transferable across education systems worldwide.
The school is currently undergoing a planned and phased expansion. At present, education is provided from Year 1 to Year 8. Year 9 will be introduced in the 2026–2027 academic year, followed by Year 10 in 2027–2028. As a result, the current age range of the school is 6–13, with students aged 14 and 15 joining as the expansion continues through 2027 and 2028.
In addition, The Tanto International School offers an English-language Nursery for children aged 1–6 years. The Nursery is committed to providing the highest quality care and early education through small class sizes, a nurturing environment, and high-quality teaching that supports each child’s development.
