| Use of technology in the classroom |
With a future-focused approach, technology is utilised daily in the classroom. Westbourne uses AI through purposely designed applications to complement student learning. For example, during our Future Leaders Lab led by an INSEAD Professor, a sophisticated AI tool is used to simulate real life negotiations and our students are required to make both commercial and non-commercial decisions, negotiating with characters generated by AI and engaging with them in fluid discussions as they would in real business meetings. Westbourne International, which is a leading global group of IB schools, has been using AI to revolutionise the learning experience for students since 2021. Our uniquely tailored AI platform contains academic courses developed by Westbourne with a focus on English, Maths, and Sciences, which not only cleverly gauges the students’ understanding of specific content, but also provides them with limitless opportunities to further expand their knowledge. The students gain a personalised, differentiated learning path tailored to their performance and interests - keeping learning relevant and challenging. |
