Founded in 1996, Shanghai Community International School offers a rigorous international program to more than 1800 expatriate students whose families are resident in Shanghai. SCIS is licensed in China as a not-for-profit school governed by a self-perpetuating board of directors. The school is part of a group of schools overseen by the International School Foundation.
