Ostia International School is situated between the pinewood and the sea and is based in a spacious villa. The building itself is organised and furnished according to the ‘Regio Children’ philosophy. The structured spaces are therefore equipped to provide a program which encourages the perceptive, emotional and cognitive development of each individual child.
|Teaching approach of the school||
Nursery program is taught entirely in English. It is essential that the children develop a good understanding of the language during these early years. There is also a bilingual support teacher as part of our Nursery team.
In the Primary School the children are immersed into both the Italian and the English National Curriculums from Year2/Prima Elementare onwards. Consequently pupils leave our school at the end of Year 6 / Quinta Elementare with Key Stage 1 and 2 certificates and La Licenza Elementare.
