Brief description of entry evaluation required

All applicants sit the Harrow New York test in person or online, for which no preparation is required. Harrow requires no other standardized testing. Candidates attending the School for interview will sit Harrow New York’s own short tests in English and Math.

As a new school, we do not yet have a waiting list. As we open international admissions and expand admissions across the U.S., we do anticipate having a waiting list soon.

Yes, Harrow New York is a boarding and day school. Supervision is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Yes. Harrow New York picks up and drops off at the Oakdale Long Island Rail Road station at the beginning and end of each school day.

In addition, Harrow New York partners with local public school districts in Suffolk County, including the Connetquot Central School District. Eligible day students may qualify for district-provided yellow bus transportation if their home is more than the minimum walking distance from school (typically 2 miles for grades K–8 and 3 miles for grades 9–12) and within the 15-mile maximum limit one way.

Students who reside within a 15-mile radius of Harrow International School New York are eligible for bus service from their district of residence.

Chapter 3635 of the New York State Education Law requires transportation requests to a private or parochial school must be submitted to the district of residence on or before April 1, preceding the beginning of the next school year. To request such transportation for the coming school year, please contact your home school district.

Failure to comply with the April 1 deadline may result in loss of district transportation services.
