My experience with the Canadian School of Bahrain has been extremely disappointing. The school does not appear to provide adequate support for children with special educational needs. Instead of developing and implementing individualized support plans tailored to each child's needs, there seems to be very little meaningful intervention or commitment to inclusive education.
The Head of Centre has developed a reputation among parents for taking the easiest approach when challenges arise—encouraging or pushing students with special needs to leave the school rather than working with families to support their success.
The overall environment has been disappointing, and the high teacher turnover only adds to the instability. Teachers are replaced frequently, sometimes even in the middle of a semester, with little regard for the impact this has on students' learning, emotional well-being, and continuity in the classroom.
I would encourage parents, especially those with children who require additional learning support, to carefully evaluate whether this school is able to meet their child's needs before making a decision
