St. George´s School is co-educational Primary and Secondary school for children from 3 to 18 years of age.
St. George´s British Schools aim to educate children into becoming confident, knowledgeable, and creative adults who are equipped to make a significant contribution to the modern world. They will have an understanding of, and empathy for the diverse cultures throughout the world, and will have developed a love of learning.
In order to fulfil its mission statement, the school's objectives are:
- To provide a secure, stimulating, motivating and tranquil learning environment for the pupils.
|Teaching approach of the school||
Pupils at St. George´s follow courses based on the National Curriculum and recognised British examinations, in conjunction with obligatory elements of the Spanish curriculum.
They study a wide range of subjects from the British curriculum and, in addition, Spanish language and humanities. In this way, they receive a broad and balanced bicultural education which prepares them effectively for further study in either system and for the demands of everyday life.
Teaching approaches are varied and flexible to suit the purpose or context. Pupils learn essentially through thinking for themselves, experimenting, exploring and investigating. They also learn how to work independently, and in teams.
