It enables a learning experience that will help learners develop the skills and character for the jobs of the future: a combination of expertise, skills and mindsets.

Academics
At The Global College, we offer a personalised education, built around the International Baccalaureate, so that all students can achieve their full potential, preparing them for access to leading universities worldwide. Our curriculum is designed to provide coherence, balance and breadth, generating an appetite for learning and discovery in our students.
Drawing from a shared vision with IE University, we recognise the importance of a lifetime view of education. The future working environment will be global, digital and enterprising, with technology creating new jobs that don't exist yet. Students therefore need to be creative, resilient, entrepreneurial and open minded.
The IB Curriculum
The IB Programme prepares students for success in higher education and to be active participants in a global society. IB learners strive to be inquisitive, knowledgeable, principled, open-minded, caring, balanced and reflective individuals, as well as good thinkers, communicators and risk-takers. Its mission and philosophy clearly represent what The Global College stands for.
Students of the IB Diploma Programme select six subjects from six subject groups (Arts disciplines are elective and can be substituted by another subject from the previous groups). Three of the six subjects are studied at Higher Level (HL), each representing 240 teaching hours over two years. The remaining three subjects are studied at Standard Level (SL), each representing 150 teaching hours over two years.
Our Campus
Our unique campus is located in Barrio de Salamanca, Madrid, at 8 Castellón de la Plana St. Previously used by IE Business School, it will be home to The Global College thanks to its partnership with IE University. The Global campus has been designed to provide students with their first pre-university experience, rather than their last two years of school. The campus will be open outside class hours, including weekends, to provide students with comprehensive support to help them successfully complete their Baccalaureate.
Boarding
The Global College is happy to provide boarding facilities for its international students. They are just a 10-minute walk from the campus, perfectly located in Barrio de Salamanca, one of the most vibrant, sought-after and safe neighbourhoods in Madrid. They are a home away from home where students can feel comfortable, cared for and safe, while enjoying the city’s best cultural, commercial and social attractions, just a stone’s throw away.
Students live in a boarding house located in a premium neighborhood, in individual rooms that have been completely refurbished for The Global College residence. They have live-in residential staff, daily house-keeping, high-speed wifi, catering and enjoy plenty of weekend activities.
