Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

Agora International School Madrid is a private, bilingual international school in Madrid. It focuses on achieving educational excellence via an enriched and coordinated curriculum tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of each of its students. The school has an integrated Music School and its curriculum extends from Preschool to Pre-University. Agora's senior students are offered the opportunity to study the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Teaching approach of the school

Agora's educational project is built around three core ideas: Educational Excellence, Global Readiness and Co-curricular Depth and Excellence.

Educational Excellence forms the basis of the school's educational project, and is what it considers to be the first pillar of its methodology as an institution. At all Globeducate schools, pupils are given the academic knowledge, the skills, and the understanding necessary to reach their maximum potential.

The second pillar of the educational project at NACE international private schools is Global Readiness. Agora offers a wide variety of foreign languages with immersion programmes to enrich the pupils’ learning experiences. The majority of classes are taught in English, and the school also offers Chinese, French and German, always with qualified native or bilingual teachers.

The third pillar of the educational project is Co-curricular Depth and Excellence. As well as the school’s own music project, in which all pupils learn to play an instrument (the violin), Agora works in collaboration with the Fabordón Music School, which from this academic year onwards is now authorised as a Conservatoire. Students who wish to can progress more professionally with their studies in this area. The school also places great importance on sport and the creative arts, which offers pupils many benefits in their academic and personal development.
