Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

A unique characteristic of SPM is its Student-Centered and Inquiry-Based approach and a balance between character development and academic achievement through The Leader in Me program. In April 2012, SPM was recognized as The 1st International Lighthouse School, a model and parameter school that implemented the Leader in Me Program outside of America. That recognized based on the accreditation from the FranklinCovey Education Solution, USA.

The school uses the National Curriculum, while ensuring a learning approach allowing students to develop as: inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk takers, knowledgeable, principle centered, caring, open minded, well balanced and reflective.

SPM implements an integration of the national curriculum with international standards and expectations. Learning programs are skillfully integrated to allow students to develop understanding, of concepts and their applications in daily life. Using Bahasa Indonesian and English as the medium of instruction, students are prepared to follow both national and global pathways.
