In the Primary section, while some homework is assigned for practising skills and ideas learnt during a school day, homework is designed to be interesting and developmental. The amount assigned varies depending on the age and the class level of the student.

Once students enter the Secondary section, they need to adopt a more systematic approach of reviewing their work each day. Year 7-9 students should be doing at least 15-20 hours of homework a week. Students in the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Programme and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, if they want to be successful, should be doing 20-30 hours of homework a week. Discipline learnt in doing homework each day will prepare students to perform strongly in the examinations.
