Classroom learning is fully “wired” at HIS. With a commitment to a 1-to-1 laptop initiative in grades 5-12, students purchase an Apple Macbook as one of their required educational resources and the entire campus provides wireless access for the HIS community. Over the years, HIS has steadily augmented and upgraded its facilities and resources to match the growing student population, the requirements of a more robust high school program, and the demands of the future in education.

When a referral is made, a team is gathered to assess the student’s current level of academic or social/behavioral performance. When internal and/or external assessments have been completed the team makes decisions about next steps. Learning Support Program fees are assessed according to the level of support provided.
