My two children have been at MSF for five years, and they are very happy to be part of such a supportive group of friends and dedicated teachers. The teachers are kind, approachable, and always open to communication, you can ask questions anytime and they are very helpful. The strong sense of international-mindedness also creates a wonderful and welcoming learning environment.

My children are currently in the Early Years and Primary sections of the school, and our family has been part of the MSF community since they attended Kindergarten. I was surprised to read the negative feedback, as it does not reflect our experience.
MSF is a school that has developed significantly over time. Now in our 13th year at the school, we continue to experience a very positive spirit and a strong growth mindset. The teachers are well-qualified, dedicated, and consistently go beyond expectations to support students, particularly those who may be struggling.
I can confidently recommend the school and encourage prospective families to visit and form their own impression.

We are extremely happy with MSF, in the Kindergarten, Transition and Primary School sections. Compared to German Kindergartens and Grundschulen, the children here are offered far more opportunities, both academically and personally.
For families who value excellent education, strong English and German language development, and a truly international environment, this school is an outstanding choice. The curriculum is rich, diverse, and thoughtfully designed to support each child’s growth.
As a German family, we now clearly see the difference when comparing this school to the German Grundschule system. Our daughter has learned an impressive amount within just her first half year in Primary School. Her progress in languages, confidence, and overall academic skills has exceeded our expectations.
We feel very grateful to be part of this community and highly recommend the school to other families seeking a high‑quality, international education.

After seeing three very negative reviews posted within a short period of time, I felt compelled to share my own experience.
I am a parent of two children who have attended MSF since kindergarten, and we are now in our fifth year at the school. Choosing MSF has been one of the best decisions we have made for our family, and I could not be happier with it.
Initially, MSF stood out because it is the only school accredited by the German state, meaning there are no kindergarten fees for families living in Frankfurt. In addition, the IB programme is fully recognised, opening doors to both international universities and German universities later on. While these were important factors, they are not the main reasons we value MSF so highly.
What truly sets MSF apart is that it is a mid-sized school where individuals genuinely matter. This is not only due to its size, but very much becau... read full review

Perfect place for your child(ren) to experience racism, sexism, homophobia, neglect, and many other unwanted feelings. This school is home to bullying and staff who are willing to do absolutely nothing about it. Beyond that, despite the numerous fundin... read full review

It’s hard to describe the level of disappointment I feel toward this school. The culture here is toxic. There’s an unspoken rule: don’t speak up, don’t stand out, and don’t expect support. Students who try to raise concerns are met with defensiveness or outright dismissal. The message is clear: stay quiet, or be labelled a problem. Communication is abysmal. Decisions affecting students’ futures are made behind closed doors, announced last minute, and implemented without explanation. Accountability? Nonexistent. Staff missteps are swept under the rug, while students are held to unrealistic, inconsistent standards. Academically, the school offers the bare minimum while patting itself on the back for mediocrity. There’s no real investment in differentiated teaching, or critical thinking. You’ll find worksheets, outdated resources, and a lot of “just memorise it” teaching. Perhaps mo... read full review

I can’t in good conscience recommend this school to anyone who genuinely cares about education, student wellbeing, or basic professionalism. My experience here was not just disappointing,it was exhausting, disheartening, and at times, borderline negligent.
The administration is either completely absent or utterly uninterested in listening to student concerns. Repeated issues, including bullying, inconsistent teaching, and outright disorganisation, were swept under the rug. Emails go unanswered, complaints are dismissed, and staff turnover is so frequent that students struggle to build any meaningful academic consistency.
As for the teaching quality: hit-or-miss doesn’t even begin to describe it. While a few teachers were passionate and hardworking (1 or 2 max), the majority seemed burnt out, underprepared, or just going through the motions. Curriculum delivery felt chaotic, and... read full review

Teachers don’t teach. They aren’t there to help your child. They offer university guidance but have no proper person with experience or knowledge of what they are doing, the food is horrible. Water in the bathrooms are freezing in the winter. Forced ideologies on children. Facilities are very minimal. They ignore students health safety and wellbeing.

Both my children went through MSF, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience they had. The school did an exceptional job preparing them for the university world—not only academically but also in terms of personal growth. MSF fosters resilience in its students, teaching them to navigate challenges with confidence and independence. At the same time, the teachers and staff are incredibly caring and supportive, creating a balanced environment where students feel valued and motivated. This combination of high academic standards, compassion, and encouragement to be organized and self-sufficient truly sets MSF apart.
